Mechanization and Postharvest for Rice Production

On February 10, 2023, at the Department of Agriculture and Forestry in Vientiane Province, LACP project team together with the expert team from the World Bank went on field visit to follow up and support the implementation project in Vientiane Province.

The government is encouraging private businesses to invest more in the production of fertiliser and animal feed, in response to the surge in market demand.

In the morning of March 22nd, 2022, NPMO held signing ceremony for provide matching grant from Lao Agriculture Competitiveness Project to the agribusiness between the Department of Planning and Cooperation and Bounhieng Rice Mill, at the Crown Plaza Hotel, Vientiane Capital.
